Broderick, Stirn & Regan was formed in January 1999 by the three senior partners in the insurance and reinsurance practice group of Preston Gates Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds LLP.

The formation of our Firm was motivated by our conviction that large law firm economics are often obstacles to efficient and cost-effective delivery of legal services. Our experience has been that insurance and reinsurance clients expect to be able to call upon more senior lawyers with substantial relevant experience, and are not interested in subsidizing training junior attorneys. Such clients recognize that experienced lawyers offer better value and a lower delivered price, because they can perform work more efficiently. Because of its small size, our Firm is also not saddled with high operating costs.

As a result, our rates are noticeably lower than those of many large firms. We also do not charge clients for long distance telephone calls, ordinary photocopying, ordinary postage, or basic Westlaw research. Large photocopying jobs, whether performed in-house or by a competitively-priced outside copy service, are charged to our clients at actual cost.
